Wir lieben kurze Wege. Ganz wie unsere Versicherten.

«We like to take the shortest route. Just like our inured persons.»

History

The PKSU Saurer pension institution is one of the oldest pension institutions of Switzerland's private industry.

In 1921, the former enterprise Adolph Saurer AG in Arbon established an "employee Pension Fund". In those times, there were two entrance to the factory premises: one for white collar workers and the second one for blue collar workers. It was only in 1990, that both Pension Funds merged to become the Pension Fund of the Saurer Group "Pensionskasse der Saurer-Unternehmungen" (PKSU). During many years, the Pension Fund insured all employees of the Saurer group of companies. In the 1980's, when production of vans and lorries ceased, further companies, that employed former Saurer staff, were affiliated even though the company owners were legally no longer connected to Saurer AG. These include the company HADRO and Dereco AG (now FPT). Meanwhile, the Saurer pension institution PKSU has established itself and developed further as a competent, uncomplicated and secure pension institution for SMEs of any origins and branches. In 2022, this development has become evident in its new image.
